About Us
- We have been feeding hungry people in Thunder Bay for over 28 years
- We provide a nourishing mid-day meal between 2:30 and 4 p.m. every day, 365 days a year
- Last year over 49,800 meals were served by individual volunteers, church and community groups
- Today we feed approximately 200 hungry men, women and children every day. That number has increased significantly since 2008 and is expected to continue to grow.
- Since 1981 we have served close to 750,000 meals
- We receive no financial support from any government agency for the operation of our soup kitchen.
- We rely on the generosity of the Diocese of Thunder Bay, a number of local church groups, service clubs, community organizations, individuals, and local businesses for funding and the donation of food supplies.
- We are a registered charity.
